Finally after a month of waiting, i got all three books that i purchased there. Yeah, it's sort of excruciating process of waiting. Many 'what-ifs' surface during that one month duration, mainly because:
1) It's the first time i purchased stuff from oversea.
2) It's obviously my first experience buying from them (BD).
3) Pos Malaysia is always known for their inefficient service, hence the free snail mail postage offered by BookDepository is some what worrisome.
A week before, that was about 20++ days after the books were dispatched, i emailed to both bookdepository as well as PosMalaysia asking about status of my packages. (Yes,packages. Bookdepository always dispatched the books separately even though you ordered them in bulk.) Both of them replied to my email. I was kinda surprised Pos Malaysia replied to me though. Haha. In all seriousness, it also means their customer service has somehow improved and kudos to them for that.
The 2 white packages is for my Hunger Games books whereas the brown one is my Norwegian book. The white package is bubblewrap type meanwhile the brown one is the hardpaper type. Nonetheless, both type of packages provide maximum protection on the books so have no worry. I'll show you the condition of the books later.
See. The books' condition are as good as you buy them from your nearest bookstore. If you wanted to save about >rm15 on each book and WILLING to wait for a month, then go ahead buy from BD. =)
