Great Expectations.

Aku ibarat piala kau. You parade me around while i'm still shining. Kau sua-sua aku ke langit as i am the best thing you ever own. Now here's the twist, every time you do that part of me dies inside and so i thought, what happens next when i lost my gloss?


Expectation kills you inside out.




I have been living my whole life knowing the fact, when you achieve something and continuously having the best in everything you do, people would NEVER expect less from you. Never. It's exponential. Yes, expectation from other people rather than your own self is what will kills you. Does satisfying everyone's expectation does you any good?

Well, so I've figured.


At the end of the day, remind ourselves that all those expectations from people hanyalah duniawi semata-mata. Expectation untuk ukhrawi kita ada jaga tak? Ouch. Kena batang hidung sendiri. Thus, don't be sad when those expectations are not meet. Allah knows best.

And this post, in fact,is solely for myself. I am struggling over the smallest thing ever,if that's what will satisfy your hunger for truth.
